As fan fare around Superbowl 44 heats up, there will be huge debate among NFL pundits and fans around this very simple question, “Who will win?”

Superbowl’s are notorious for having crazy outcomes, expect Superbowl XLIV to be no different.

Drew Brees has seen the face of adversity the last few years. As the professional QB of the Hurricane Katrina stricken New Orleans Saints, Brees has witnessed destruction and stench in his own backyard. 2 days ago, he witnessed the self destruction of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Champioship game. Through it all, Drew Brees and the Saints have prospered.

Peyton Manning has the pedigree. As the son of former New Orleans Saints quarterback and bayou hero Archie Manning, Peyton has a league record 4 NFL MVP trophies. (The 4th was won this year.) His Indianapolis Colts team has the most complete football team in the NFL. Oddsmakers have the Colts to win.

This game is a toss up in reality. Who can predict the future? Who could predict that Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings would be in the NFC Championship game… let alone in New Orleans? Who would have picked the New York Jets to advance all the way to the AFC Championship game after barely scraping in to the playoffs? Who would have guessed it?

That’s what makes Superbowl festivities so much fun. As for the predictions of SnortReport, we’re going with the Colts. Final score? Colts 31 Saints 20.

What’s your Superbowl XLIV prediction?
