What criteria are used to establish the “Snort of the Week” award?

There are 3 distinct criteria one must have to obtain the spectacular and hard earned “Snort of the Week” award. Those 3 criteria are:

# 1 - Award winner must be a complete and total goofball.  A celebrity, a sports star, your local mayor - there must be some news notoriety.  Digg stories receive high honors. 

# 2 - Snort of the Week award winner must behave in some manner like a pig.  Oink Oink!

# 3 -  The “Snort of the Week” champion must fit well into the Adobe Photoshop pictures of SnortReport.com administrator.

Does the weekly poll have any impact on the “Snort of the Week award winner” ?

Yes. The poll is a hugely important factor in determining the Snort of the Week winner. The more times one particular candidate is voted for, the more likely you’ll get to see a copy of the famous pig picture!
